Cookie policy
Last updated September 2, 2026
This policy explains how QC Cream and a few third parties store information on your device when you use qccream.com. It covers cookies and similar storage such as localStorage.
1. What this covers
A cookie is a small file a site or its partners save in your browser. We also use localStorage on this device for the bag, language, theme, and sign-in session. Those are not cookies, but they stay on your device until you clear site data.
We do not run advertising pixels or a marketing-analytics suite on this storefront. If that changes, we will update this page.
2. What QC Cream stores
These keys live in your browser under qccream.com. They are used to run the shop, not to sell a profile to advertisers.
| Name | Type | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| qccream-locale | localStorage | Remembers English, Spanish, Arabic, or Farsi | Until you clear it or change language |
| qccream-theme | localStorage | Remembers light or dark theme | Until you clear it or switch theme |
| qccream-cart | localStorage | Keeps pints in your bag between visits | Until you clear it or empty the bag |
| qccream-auth | localStorage | Access and refresh tokens if you sign in | Until you sign out or the refresh token expires |
| qccream-last-order | sessionStorage | Shows the confirmation page after checkout in this tab | Until you close the tab |
3. Third-party cookies
Cloudflare Turnstile may set cookies when you sign in, register, or check out, to tell people from bots. Those cookies are controlled by Cloudflare.
Stripe may set cookies on the Stripe payment page when you pay by card. QC Cream does not read your full card number. See Stripe’s cookie and privacy documentation for that step.
If the shop is served behind Cloudflare or similar hosting, the network may set a strictly necessary cookie to route or protect the connection.
4. Why we use them
Strictly necessary: checkout, payment, bot checks, keeping you signed in.
Functional: language, theme, bag contents so you do not start over on every visit.
We do not currently use cookies for ads or cross-site tracking.
5. Your choices
You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block all cookies, Turnstile or Stripe may fail and you might not be able to sign in or pay.
Clearing localStorage signs you out, empties the bag, and resets language and theme to defaults.
You can refuse an account and still check out as a guest. Guest checkout still needs Turnstile (except on local development) and Stripe when card payment is on.
6. Do Not Track
The storefront does not change behavior based on a browser Do Not Track signal because we are not running extra trackers. Cookie controls in the browser remain the way to limit storage.
7. Changes
If we add analytics, ads, or new storage, we will revise this policy and the date on this page.
