Privacy policy

Last updated September 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how QC Cream collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit qccream.com, check out as a guest, or keep an account. It is the notice that covers personal data. Browser storage is described in the Cookie policy. Using the shop is also covered by the Terms of use and the End user policy.

1. Who is responsible

QC Cream, Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, is the business responsible for personal information collected through this website. Pickup and correspondence: 1400 S Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28203. Email: [email protected]. Phone: (704) 555-0174.

2. Scope

This policy applies to the storefront, checkout, customer accounts, order tracking, and messages we send about an order. It does not cover other websites we link to, including Stripe’s payment page, which has its own privacy notice.

3. Information we collect

The table is a notice at collection: what we collect, typical examples, why, and who else may see it to complete your order.

4. How we collect it

Directly from you when you browse with a bag, check out, register, sign in, or edit your account.

Automatically from your browser: language, theme, bag contents, sign-in tokens, and server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested).

From processors who help us take payment (Stripe) and stop bots (Cloudflare Turnstile).

If you later create an account with the same email as a guest order, we attach those guest orders to the account so you can track them.

5. How we use it

To take and pack orders, charge the total shown, deliver or hold for pickup, and text or email about the window and status.

To keep you signed in, remember the bag and language, show order history, and fix problems.

To prevent fraud, abuse, and attacks on checkout or login.

To keep tax, accounting, and legal records in the United States.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use your orders to train public AI models.

6. Legal grounds (where that language applies)

We process information to fulfill a purchase or account you asked for, because we have a legitimate interest in running a safe Charlotte shop, and where law requires records. Optional marketing is not something we run on this storefront today. Functional shop storage is described in the Cookie policy.

7. Sharing

Stripe, to take card payment on Stripe’s page.

Cloudflare, for Turnstile and, if used, to host or protect the connection.

People who pack and drive our routes, who need the address and pint list.

Advisers, insurers, or authorities when the law requires it, or to protect customers, the shop, or the public.

A buyer of the business, who must use the information only as this policy allows.

We do not sell lists to data brokers.

8. Cookies and similar storage

We use cookies and localStorage as described in the Cookie policy (language, theme, bag, sign-in, last-order confirmation, plus Turnstile and Stripe). Clearing site data signs you out and empties the bag.

9. Messages

We use the email and phone you give to send order receipts and delivery updates. Those messages are part of fulfilling the order, not a separate marketing list.

We do not currently send promotional campaigns. If we start, we will say so here and give a way to opt out of marketing while still receiving order-critical notices.

10. Retention

Order records stay as long as we need them for delivery disputes, taxes, and bookkeeping, then we delete them or keep them in a form that no longer identifies you.

Account profile fields stay until you ask us to delete the account, except records we must keep. Sign-in tokens expire; you can sign out on this device.

11. Security

The site uses HTTPS. Passwords are stored as hashes, not plain text. Refresh tokens rotate. Turnstile sits on login, register, and checkout. No method is perfect. Do not reuse your QC Cream password on other sites.

12. Your choices and rights

You can view or update name, phone, and saved details in your account, or email [email protected]. You can ask us to delete an account. We may keep order rows the law requires.

You can check out as a guest. You can clear cookies and site data in the browser.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, or to appeal a refusal. Email [email protected] with “Privacy request” in the subject. We will verify you before we act.

13. California residents

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Sensitive data we handle (for example account login) is used only to provide the shop.

To exercise a right, email [email protected]. Authorized agents must show authority. We may need enough detail to find your orders (email and a recent order number help).

14. Children

The shop is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.

15. International visitors

The shop is built for Charlotte, North Carolina. If you use it from another country, your information is processed in the United States, where privacy rules may differ from your home.

16. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The date on this page is the current version. If we make a material change to how we use personal information, we will post the change here before it applies to new collection.
