End user policy

Last updated September 2, 2026

This end user policy covers how you may use QC Cream as a customer—browsing, accounts, checkout, and orders. How we collect and use personal information is in the Privacy Policy. Browser storage is in the Cookie policy. By using the site you also agree to the Terms of use.

1. Controller

QC Cream, Charlotte, North Carolina, is responsible for personal information collected through qccream.com. Contact [email protected] or 1400 S Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28203.

2. Information we collect

You give us: first and last name, email, phone, street address, apartment, city, ZIP, delivery notes, and order contents. If you register: username, email, password (stored as a hash, not in plain text), and optional delivery details you save on your account.

We create: order numbers, status (pending, paid, preparing, out for delivery, delivered, cancelled), amounts, timestamps, and whether the order is tied to your account.

Devices: language and theme preference, bag contents, and sign-in tokens on your browser. Server logs may include IP address, browser type, and pages requested to run and secure the shop.

Payment: Stripe collects card details on Stripe’s page. We receive payment status, a session or order reference, and the email used at checkout—not your full card number.

Bot checks: Cloudflare Turnstile sends a token with login, register, and checkout so we can tell whether the request looks like a person.

3. How we use it

To take orders, take payment, pack pints, deliver or hold for pickup, text or email about the window, and show you order status in your account.

To keep you signed in, remember the bag and language, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix problems with an order.

To meet tax, accounting, and legal duties in the United States.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not use it to train public AI models.

4. Legal grounds (where that language applies)

We process information because you asked us to fulfill a purchase or account, because we have a legitimate interest in running a safe shop, and where the law requires records. If you are in a place that needs consent for optional cookies, we only set functional shop storage as described in the cookie policy.

5. Sharing

Stripe, to take card payment.

Cloudflare, for Turnstile and, if used, to host or protect the site.

People who pack and drive our routes, who see the address and order so they can deliver.

Professional advisers or authorities if the law requires it, or to protect the shop, customers, or the public.

A buyer of the business, under a duty to use the information only as this policy allows.

We do not sell lists to data brokers.

6. Guest orders and accounts

A guest order is stored with the email you typed. If you later create an account with that same email, we attach those guest orders to the account so you can track them.

Anyone who can open your email or phone can intercept receipts or delivery texts. Use an account and a strong password if you want a private order history on this site.

7. Retention

Order records are kept as long as we need them for delivery disputes, taxes, and bookkeeping, then deleted or archived in a form that no longer identifies you when we no longer need them.

Account profile fields stay until you ask us to delete the account, except records we must keep. Sign-in tokens expire; you can sign out of this device or all devices from the account page.

8. Security

We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, rotating refresh tokens, and Turnstile on sensitive forms. No method is perfect. Do not reuse your QC Cream password elsewhere.

9. Your choices

You can access or update name, phone, and saved details in your account, or email [email protected]. You can ask us to delete an account. We may keep order rows required by law.

You can shop as a guest. You can clear browser storage as described in the cookie policy.

If you are a California resident, you may have rights to know, delete, and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information. To exercise a right, email [email protected] with “Privacy request” in the subject. We will verify you before we act.

10. Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.

11. International visitors

The shop is built for Charlotte, North Carolina. If you use it from another country, your information is processed in the United States, where privacy rules may differ from your home.

12. Changes

We may update this end user policy. The date on this page is the current version. If we make a material change to how we use personal information, we will post the change here before it applies to new collection.
